Cookie Policy

Effective Date: June 2026 · Last updated: June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types Kreatures uses, why we use them, and your rights and choices regarding cookies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time so you don't have to re-enter them every time you visit or navigate between pages.

Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or install malware. They are simple data files — nothing more.

2. How we are different

Kreatures is built on a privacy-first philosophy. We do not use advertising networks, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling cookies. We use only the minimum cookies required to make the application work securely and remember your preferences.

3. Cookies we use

The table below lists every category of cookie currently active on Kreatures:

Stores your light/dark mode preference locally on your device. Never sent to our servers. Persistent (local only) Not required
Functional Language preference

What we do NOT use:

4. Legal basis for cookies (GDPR)

Under the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent because they are essential for the service you have requested. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract / provision of the service) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure service delivery).

We do not set any cookies that require consent (e.g. analytics, marketing) without offering you a clear opt-in mechanism first. Currently, no such cookies are active on the platform.

5. Third-party cookies

The Kreatures platform embeds a booking calendar widget (Calendly) on the coaching session page. When you visit that page, Calendly may set its own cookies on your device subject to Calendly's Cookie Policy. These cookies are functional and used solely to display the booking calendar. We recommend reviewing Calendly's policy if you have concerns.

The Kreatures website is hosted on Google Firebase. Google may set infrastructure-level cookies. See Google's Cookie Policy for full details.

6. Your choices and how to control cookies

You have several options to manage cookies:

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using personalised features of the Kreatures app.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new features or services that require additional cookies. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. We will notify signed-in users of material changes via the app dashboard.

8. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at care@kreatures.org. For data protection enquiries, please see our Privacy Policy and the contact details in the Impressum.
